Dr. Mark Lee, neurosurgeon, is board-certified in neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery, and fellowship trained in pediatric neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery. Dr. Lee completed both his medical training and his PhD in neurobiology at the University of Chicago; his residency in neurosurgery at New York University; his pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at New York University; and his epilepsy surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. Prior to coming to Austin, Dr. Lee was Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, and the Allen Distinguished Chair in Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Georgia. He has been included in the Best Doctors in America list since 2005. Dr. Lee has a large experience of over fifteen years in all types of epilepsy surgery for both adults and children. His research interests include the Human Brain Laboratory to investigate the biology of human epilepsy.
